The PPE (Air-to-Water) intercooler is engineered to outperform the factory unit by maximizing heat rejection, airflow efficiency, and structural integrity under boost. Featuring a 50% larger, all-aluminum bar-and-plate core, it delivers substantially greater thermal mass and heat transfer surface area, enabling faster and more consistent charge-air cooling under sustained load. A re-engineered internal coolant flow path promotes more uniform heat extraction across the core, further enhancing the heat transfer between the hot charge air and the coolant.

The rigid TIG-welded aluminum construction, including reinforced end tanks, ensures superior durability and pressure resistance, maintaining performance at elevated boost levels. Fluid-dynamically optimized, cast-aluminum end tanks streamline airflow, cutting internal turbulence and reducing frictional pressure drop by 63% - allowing the turbocharger to operate more efficiently.

The result is lower intake air temperatures, reduced exhaust gas temperatures (EGTs), improved combustion efficiency, and increased fuel economy, all while supporting higher power output and sustained performance.
